What is E-Rate?
Education Rate (E-Rate) is a federal program that provides crucial funding for schools and libraries to access modern digital infrastructure. The program offers substantial discounts on two major categories of services: Category I (Internet Access) and Category II (Internal Connections).
How Much Can You Save?
Your organization's discount depends on student enrollment and the percentage of students eligible for the National School Lunch Program:
Category I discounts range from 20% to 90%
Category II discounts range from 20% to 85%
Rural institutions may qualify for higher discount rates
